Georgia's seal of Biliteracy
Graduating seniors who are able to demonstrate a high level of proficiency are eligible to be awarded the Seal of Biliteracy. Students receive a seal on their diploma and a cord at graduation. In order to be awarded the seal, students must earn a 4 or 5 on the AP French, Latin or Spanish Exam and must maintain a 3.0 in their English and World Language classes. Students who can demonstrate a high level of proficiency in another language may qualify based on various testing that is available through Fulton County or the State of Georgia. |
