Señorita Rosangel Rodriguez joined the Cambridge Bears in 2020 and has been teaching at Fulton County for 7 years. She is originally from Caracas, Venezuela and has family roots from the Canary Islands of Spain. She went to the University of West GA and earned her Bachelor of Arts in Foreign Languages and Literature (Spanish) and is certified in both Spanish and ESOL. Prior to becoming a teacher, she worked in a law firm and was one of the bilingual paralegals for Spanish speaking clients. While she enjoyed utilizing the language to help clients in the legal field, she wanted to be able to do more with the language and culture and decided that she could share this passion with students through teaching. She hopes for all students to leave with a new perspective of other cultures with different customs and traditions while being able to attain proficiency along the way. When she is not being a teacher, she enjoys being a student herself by learning about other cultures. In her spare time, she takes Korean classes and immerses herself in the culture through friends and Korean music and television. She also enjoys tasting a variety of foods from different countries, attending concerts and going to cultural festivals. Other hobbies she loves doing are listening to music and dancing, going on walks and spending time with her fur baby
